Brittain Resort Management is a full service hotel and condo rental management company located on the Grand Strand in South Carolina. We currently represent some of the areas best known vacation and golf resorts.



Multi unit and condo experience a PLUS



General Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the hotel including profitability, guest service, product quality, cleanliness and maintenance. Operation of the hotel will be within the outline of approved annual budget, marketing plan, capital expenditures plan, wage plan and always within the outline of all Company policies and procedures.



Be readily available and effectively communicate with each Department Manager

Guide the Dept Managers to handle situations that best serve the financial interests of the property

Conduct performance appraisal and personal development plans for management staff

Assure level of experience, knowledge and ability to meet job requirements of all hotels management

Attend department employee meetings whenever possible

Develop a high level of camaraderie and loyalty in order to reduce turnover and increase employee morale

Be visible and available to all hourly personnel in accordance with the Companys open door policy

Development of annual operating budget

Monthly forecasting of operating staff and cost expenditures

Monthly review of financial statement

Regularly review all major expenses to assure that monies are wisely expended

Review of future bookings of room nights, implementing yield management practices
