An established Caribbean resort is looking to recruit a Financial Controller.
This challenging position reports directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Job Description:
* Day to day revenue controls and adjustments
* Processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Undertaking needed controls, taking inventories, etc.
* Reconciliation of bank accounts.
* Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports including P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Cash flow forecasts, operating forecasts, etc.
* Oversee departmental budgeting and forecasting and review variances
* Approve purchase orders and cheques together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
* Maintaining effective internal controls
* Maintaining information technology
* Recommending cost controls and other financial improvements
* Provide analysis and feedback to Chairman of the Board of Directors.
* Any other accounting related responsibilities as required
