TITLE: Director Marketing Third Party Management DevelopmentDIRECT REPORT: Chief Operating OfficerSUMMARY: Increases company revenues by acquiring Third Party Management Contracts and hotel revenues by growing Third Party internet bookings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Builds relationships with banks, brokers and franchise contacts in order to generate third party management contracts.2. Increases traffic and bookings by improving hotel placement on third party websites.3. Coaches GMs and DOS on internet marketing tactics.4. Develops marketing plan for new hotel openings and recently acquired management contract properties.5. Establishes relationships with key demand generators and civic partners in all property markets.6. Assists in maximizingyielding revenues weekly with GM at each hotel.7. Travels to each property monthly and makes sales calls with GMDOS.8. Helps execute marketing plan at each property.9. Manage RFP process with GM DOS at each property.10. Assesses brand marketing programs and makes sure properties are taking full advantage of brand revenue tools.11. Coordinates new hotel pre-sell and post opening sales activities.12. Assists GM in hiring of property level sales associates.13. Develops brochures, sales collateral and outdoor marketing for properties.14. Evaluates property pricing compared to comp set.15. Reviewstracks sales staffs production weekly.16. Follows up with DOS to ensure that leads are actively being followed up on.17. Takes ownership of sales when GM or DOS is not available.18. Assists GM in maintaining sales accounts.19. Able to set own schedulegoals and priorities.20. Plan and administer the companys Marketing Operations budget; support development of regional marketing budgets.
