Position Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide instrumentation and electrical support to facilities including all pressure, flow, and temperature controls, process limited controllers, gas analysis equipment, etc. Major functions include installation, trouble shooting, and continued calibration and maintenance of company owned and operated Amine and Glycol plants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ıııTroubleshooting and repairing equipment including multiple task of calibration. ıııNew plant installations, including materials procurement, outlining work/job scope, scheduling of work load with in deadlines, reporting performance and meeting the internal customerıı s expectations. ıııStartups of Amine and Glycol plants owned by Kinder Morgan and callouts / emergency response to plant shutdowns as required. ıııSupport fabrication of panels for skid mounted equipment, motors and controls. ıııComplete other related duties as assigned. ıııPosition located in North Louisiana area
Position Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: ıııHigh School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: ııı5 years of technical service ıııTravel to support installations and trouble shooting of plants ıııTravel can range between 20 - 50% ıııBasic computer skills ıııBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals) ıııWorking knowledge of the National Electric Codes ıııMust respond to, and address, callouts and emergencies after regular business hours including after dark hours, which may require carrying a communication device.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: ıııMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
COMPENTENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: ıııAbility to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimum supervision. ıııAbility to lift up to 50 pounds ıııAdequate analytical and troubleshooting skills ıııGood verbal and written communication skills ıııCustomer focus ıııAbility to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
