Seeking a research assistant to perform a wide variety of duties for the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital including assisting with participant screening, recruiting and supervision of exercise training. Requires a Bachelors degree in a science related field (pre-med, exercise physiology preferred). ECG class or experience in basic life support (CPR and/or ACLS) preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. This person should have an interest in human cardiovascular physiology and have the ability to work dynamically in a team situation as well as autonomously. This is a 2-year commitment (40 hours/week) and is an ideal job for a student applying to medical or graduate school who wants research and/or clinical experience.
