Candidate will be part of the Targeted Analysis Group of the Analysis Branch (or equivalent activity) of a government operated CERT.
Responsible for an advanced level of all-source analysis of cyber threats to the US Federal government networks. This position is unique to the Cyber Security Profession in that it blends traditional intelligence analysis, open source information, technical research, and the ability to query a variety of near real time and historical network data to answer the who and why for threat actors exploiting or attacking US Federal Government Critical Network Infrastructure and Resources. This position requires a high degree of critical thinking and reasoning.
Will perform quality control of the work of others.
Will require travel.
Will require shift work or on call status.
TS/SCIMust demonstrate an advanced level of ability in the use of Analyst Notebook and an Intel Analysis background.
Bachelors degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years directly related experience is also required. Equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.
