Acquires and services commercial loans, mortgage loans and bank services either individually or by providing guidance and assistance to other lending staff. Meets established business development goals for the unit. Ensures compliance with risk management and covenant tracking procedures. Makes presentations regarding bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals. Monitors credit quality on an on-going basis. Performs underwriting functions. Provides technical guidance and answers lending questions for lower level lending staff. Other duties as assigned.Typically requires a bachelors degree and 8 years complex commercial lending experience with 1 year in assisting other lending staff. Applies advanced lending principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of innovative procedures and policies. Expert level knowledge in a specific type of lending or a unique market segment.
