The YAI Network is currently seeking a Vocational Training Specialist to work within our Day Services department located in Astoria, Queens.
Responsibilities:
* Work with individuals with intellectual disabilities / developmental disabilities to find part-time employment opportunities.
* Provide direct supervision at the job site and vocational skills training.
Requirements:
* BA/BS required.
* Teaching skills and willingness to work with ID/DD population.
* Ability to work independently.
Hours: Full time, primarily day hours (8am-4pm) with flexibility required. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
