Part-time 3:30pm-7:30pm; can work 1 to 6 days a week in your neighborhood.

Responsibilities:
The YAI Network has openings for Part-time In-home Family Specialists (3:30pm-7:30pm) to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in the Brooklyn area. Join our dynamic team working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with developmental disabilities in their families' homes. Provide counseling and training in activities of daily living, behavior management, community integration, and advocacy. These positions require strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work with families.

Neighborhoods include (but not limited to): Bedford Stuyvesant, East Flatbush, East New York, Williamsburg, Brighton Beach, Midwood, Crown Heights, Starett City, Flatbush, Sheepshead Bay, Park Slope, Clinton Hill, Mill Basin, Carroll Gardens, Bensonhurst, Cypress Hills, Canarsie, and Bay Ridge.

Requirements:
* BA/BS or some college a plus
* Willingness to work with MR/DD population
* Team Skills
* Part-time: Monday to Friday 3:30pm-7:30pm; day hours on Saturday
* Flexible days/hours - can work from 1 day a week to up to 6 days a week
* Locations throughout Brooklyn
* Training provided
