The ACCHS Chaplain oversees the quality of CCHS spiritual care and services. Provides pastoral care and counseling on an ecumenical basis to ACCHS patients, their family members, staff and volunteers. Establishes working relationships with community clergy and supports their participation in developing and providing end of life care for their faith community. Knowledge of religious practices and beliefs normally acquired through completion of a graduate degree from an accredited theological school or college, with a minimum of four units of clinical pastoral education. A minimum of two years of parish or parish related experience strongly preferred to enhance and develop skills. Prior experience in a healthcare environment beneficial. Ordination and/or Ecclesiastical Endorsement necessary. Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) preferred. Possesses a valid Wisconsin driver's license and $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance if driving for CCHS related activities.
