As our Part-time Custodian, you'll perform routine cleaning procedures and ensure a sanitary work area throughout Nike's campus. You'll follow chemical usage directions and departmental procedures to clean, sanitize and maintain work areas to Custodial Services standards. You'll also restock supplies to assure customer usage needs are satisfied; effectively respond to unexpected changes in work volume, emergencies, staffing or scheduling revisions; and effectively use resources in a way that preserves equipment and uses supplies in a cost-effective fashion. This opportunity also involves completing supply requisitions in order to maintain adequate levels of supply and equipment inventories. In addition, you'll assure proper use of chemicals and equipment; maintain logs and inspect all safety equipment before use; follow departmental standards and procedures for handling infectious waste, recycling and trash disposal; and report needed repairs or potential hazards to management.

Work shift is 5pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements for the position include:
ýýý Ability to pass 7-year criminal background check

ýýý Ability to lift 15 pounds continuously

ýýý Ability to understand and communicate in English

ýýý Ability to follow and complete a daily schedule and monitor work results

ýýý Ability to communicate effectively with customers throughout the Nike campus

ýýý Ability to work harmoniously with other members of our Custodial Services team to ensure that all custodial needs are met

ýýý High school diploma or GED is preferred

ýýý Valid Oregon drivers license is preferred

ýýý Knowledge of custodial, janitorial or housekeeping practices is preferred

ýýý 1 year of custodial experience is preferred
