Work in a hospital with outstanding capabilities and an exceptional staff. Full-time clinical/staff position in a dynamic pharmacy environment. Recent physical relocation with new construction has allowed growth in services provided to outpatient Oncology patients. Our team members are motivated and supported to provide a variety of clinical services to acute and long-term inpatients. All pharmacists are involved with a full-range of clinical and distributive services. Distributive services are technologically supported with Cerner PharmNet and Pyxis systems. Primary responsibilities are to deliver pharmaceutical care consistent with the departmentıs clinical role in assuring rational drug therapy; develop, evaluate, recommend and monitor patient pharmaceutical care plan; compound and dispense prescribed medication; receive, review and interpret medication orders; consult and confer with prescriber and caregiver; and document and maintain patient and department records. Salary is negotiable and competitive. Work/Life balance is supported with use of 10 hour shifts and a generous earned-time program.
