Job Description:

**Note THIS POSITION IS POSTED IN ANTICIPATION OF FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR WHICH WE WELCOME YOUR RESUME SUBMISSION. BAE Systems is looking for a Environmental Program Manager to join our Engineering Team to propose on future program support opportunities with the United States Marine Corps. The ideal candidate would demonstrate in your resume submission your experience performing ANY OR ALL of the following comprehensive program management in regards to environmental services and support:


- Ability to deliver guidance and direction required to Environmental Management Support Staff.

- Ability to interpret how existing and new environmental policies affect the United States Marine Corp (USMC) CONUS and OCONUS facilities and operations

- Utilizes expert project management skills to program, plan, budget, identify risks and execute resources to meet environmental objectives.

- Active participation in conducting Environmental Compliance Reviews and tracking all corrective action items to completion

- Ability to mentor, develop training manual and deliver training to USMC stake holders

- Ability to communicate (both orally and written)

- Ability to establish win-win relationships with the USMC and it's stakeholder community

- Ability to perform environmental impact studies and mitigate any known environmental areas of concern.

- Develop Annual Operating Plan/Plan of Action for meeting goals outlined by USMC

- Develop consistent reporting of OSHA and ES&H metrics

- Implement process improvements and industry best practices with regards to environmental compliance, clean up and technical training

- Development of program schedules

- Developing POM initiatives

- Analyzing program costs

- Performing resource management activities and tasks

- Reviewing and maintaining compliance with DOD, Service, and command level policies and directives

- Support and provide input for presentations of findings and results to Government decision-making authorities

- Supporting studies and analysis

- Monitor and support adherence to quality management system, perform quality audits as required
Must have the following:

- Applicant should have a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering or some related Environmental Science. The applicant should also have at least 10 years experience in managing environmental compliance projects.

****Note...This related experience must be in any or all of the program management services listed.

- Ability to acquire a DoD security clearance

Preferences:

- Active US DoD security clearance
