Within eBusiness Operations, this position has responsibility for managing the Infrastructure Support team. - Infrastructure Support provides technical project management for upgrades to the eBusiness hardware and software infrastructure, including deployment of new application releases to that infrastructure. - Infrastructure Support is also accountable for load testing support of the eBusiness infrastructure. - In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of eBusiness systems and processes in the following areas: - coordinating the eBusiness response to audit and compliance requests, managing software licenses, and coordinating the implementation of security requirements in a timely manner. Essential Functions: - Manage Infrastructure Support team to provide efficient project management of initial implementation of, or upgrades to, the hardware and software infrastructure that supports eBusiness systems, with minimal disruption to the production environment. - Manage the deployment of application releases into the eBusiness infrastructure in such a way as to maximize the reliability of application deployments while minimizing the impact to production availability. - Coordinate load testing of eBusiness systems to identify and address performance and capacity bottlenecks prior to production implementation. Prioritize finite load testing resources and schedules to ensure areas of greatest technical risk are addressed. - Coordinate eBusiness responses to audits, with particular focus on drafting and obtaining consensus across eBusiness on policies and procedures to address audit deficiencies. - Define and implement processes and tracking systems to manage responses to audit and compliance requests, to minimize the rework required to meet recurring requests. - Manage the tracking of software licenses across all development and production eBusiness environments to ensure that software is appropriately licensed across all and only the systems that eBusiness maintains. - Ensure that license costs are entered in the eBusiness budget, and that actual expenditures are tracked. Ensure that budget costs for recurring licenses are transferred on a timely basis to the national operations functional area responsible for software acquisition. - Communicate the status of infrastructure implementations, application deployments, audit and compliance responses, security deficiencies and remediations, and software licensing to IT and business stakeholders. - Coach direct reports on a daily basis, providing direction and training on job responsibilities - Maintain a program for continuous improvements of processes and procedures to improve team efficiencies - Plan to ensure that the responsibilities of Infrastructure Support are fulfilled for new eBusiness initiatives cost-effectively and with a minimum of delay. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience - Minimum of 10 years general Information Technology experience or related work experience. - PMI certification or MBA or equivalent experience in managing complex technical projects - 8+ years of experience in leading or supervising technical teams - Knowledge of supporting n-tier web based applications and infrastructure including Java, Application Servers (WebSphere), Web Servers (IBM Http Server, IIS, etc.), Web Services, XML, HTML, Security, SSO, and Networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, etc.), Database Servers (Oracle). - Experience with management of multiple non-production system environments - Experience with project and change management tools (MS-Project, Remedy, RPM) - Experience with Windows and MS-Office or equivalent tools - Knowledge of J2EE application deployment processes - Knowledge of load testing tools (Load runner, JMeter) and testing methodology - Knowledge of source control systems (CVS, Subversion) - Knowledge of Portal (IBM WebSphere Portal Server 6.x) -
