NO AGENCIES PLEASELOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Qualifications Strong JAVA programming and OO design skills. Experience using any JMS based messaging product. Experience using FIX protocol will be a plus. Experience developing systems that integrate low latency market data Able to identify and implement Java, .NET, and C++ interoperability strategies Equity trading experience in the areas of order management, trading, exchange connectivity, trade booking. Capable of guiding end-to-end design of applications across GUI, logic, database, and integration with heterogeneous systems, storage, networks, and business continuity Familiarity with continuous integration and agile development practices. Interpersonal - Candidate must be creative, have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and be detail oriented. Working with development teams spread across multiple time zones. Strategy is often communicated directly from traders to developers. Candidate must be energetic and enjoy dealing with the immediacy of a trading floor environment. Strong motivation will be a key to success in this job. JL-635
