Job Summary: Under the supervision of a pharmacist, performs advanced technical activities including preparation of sterile products, narcotic control, outpatient pharmacy operations, unit based drug modules (Pyxis/Diebold) inventory management or drug order receiving and inventory management. Performs two or more of the following functions. Works with dangerous substances and or highly technical equipment. Must recognize and avoid conditions that place patient safety at risk.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of High School or equivalent with additional education in algebra, chemistry and biology; and 2 years of pharmacy technician experience. CPhT required.
