Physician Assistant Hospitalist Program: Will be responsible for performing a complete medical history and physical exam with adult patients in acute care setting. Orders appropriate lab and diagnostic testing. Interprets data to determine primary diagnosis and therapeutic plan. Acts as a liaison and facilitator between hospitalist, staff members, case managers and attending physician regarding patient. Rounds with and without hospitalist.Must be a graduate from an AMA approved Physician Assistant program. PAC Certification required. PA License with the NC Board of Medicine required. 2 years of experience in internal medicine/hospital medicine preferred. ACLS certification required. Full Time - 36+ hrs/wk Varied Shifts
