SUMMARY OF POSITION DESCRIPTION:
A guest parking attendant is primarily responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles at hospital locations. Other duties may include performing duties in a parking booth or shuttle van service. Assists with keeping the outside grounds clean and safe through litter patrol and sanding and salting as needed.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Driving record must show a safe driving history. Suspensions in the past two years, OUI convictions or habitual offender are not acceptable.
2. Customer service experience preferred.
3. Familiarity driving a variety of vehicle types preferred.
4. One year independent license to operate a vehicle without supervision.
5. Must be able to operate manual transmission, take off from a hill.
6. Must be able to run in situations where emergency access lanes need to be cleared of vehicles.
7. Excellent customer service skill and appearance in order to create positive first and last impressions.
8. Basic knowledge of operation of parking gates.
9. Strong interpersonal communication skills needed to support a wide variety of customers. Per Diem Flexible (As needed)
