The Pharmacist is responsible for the daily provision of pharmaceutical services to the patients of John C. Lincoln Health Network. This includes the processes of drug procurement, dispensing, monitoring, as well as the provision of drug information to the associated professional staff. Completes and assesses patients needs prior to establishing the plan of care.
Assures the accurate and timely dispensing and distribution of all pharmaceuticals.
Monitors drug therapy as ordered by the medical staff; suggests alternate drug therapy when appropriate.
Acts as a consultant in advising medical staff personnel regarding utilization of drugs and pharmaceuticals. Advised patients when called upon on use of medications including dosage, administration schedules, and side effects.
Participates in QA review and regularly performs inspection of all patient care medication centers.
Assists in the drug procurement and inventory process.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy
0 6 months Pharmacist experience
Current Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license in good standing Part-time 2nd shift Bachelors degree is required
