General Summary: The Senior Director, Emergency Services is responsible for the operational management, leadership, professional development and quality of care delivery of the Emergency Services. This position is responsible to provide leadership to the Emergency Services interdisciplinary team, establish clear lines of communication, assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of services delivered, develop and implement plans for maintenance and improvement, and conduct ongoing evaluation of system effectiveness. The Senior Director, Emergency Services also serves as a liaison to local, state, and federal agencies with regard to emergency preparedness and public health services. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum six (6) years of related nursing practice. Minimum of six (6) years management experience in an emergency room. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of personnel, medical staff and community representatives. Demonstrated skills and ability to manage human, financial, equipment, and space resources. Ability to lead teams and act as supportive team member. Ability to accurately evaluate complex problems, develop solutions, and implement plans. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field. Master Degree in nursing, health related field, or business preferred. Full-time Masters degree is required Certification Preferred Licensed in the State of MD or Compact State (RN) 6-10 years of experience is required Computer skills required Good communication skills required
