Associate Director Huntington Junior College is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid. The Associate Director of Financial Aid is responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations. Conducting statistical analyses, generating reports, and coordinating annual financial aid audits for internal, federal, and state agencies are key responsibilities of this position. Responsibilities include: ?Evaluates and makes recommendations on regulatory requirements to ensure College remains current and in compliance with Federal Regulations. ?Determines the amount of funding and reconciliation of various Title IV Programs by preparing the annual Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP) that is submitted to the United States Department of Education. ?Utilizes CampusVue student software applies problem solving skills and effectively communicates data processing system uses, needs, and priorities to the appropriate campus administrators and systems staff. ?Serves as institutional liaison with appropriate financial aid associations and federal entities with regard to administration of financial aid including the WV State Association, Vocational Rehabilitation, Health and Welfare, and Job Service. ?Oversees all aspects of the Direct Loan programs, including regulation compliance, the completion of the loan application and required reports, debt management workshops, exit counseling, and the loan default process. ?Maintains the Federal Pell Grant Program, from submitting weekly reports to fiscal reconciliation. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred, and a minimum of three (3) years experience in student financial aid administration, staff supervision, and office management that reflects a knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to the administration of student financial aid, current automated financial aid management software and federal needs analysis methodology.
