The Beginning: In 1983, six fun-loving businessmen with no experience in the restaurant industry, opened a Clearwater, FL joint with girls in orange shorts, chicken wings as the feature item, and an owl in the logo.
What is Hooters: A casual, beach-theme restaurant known for the Hooters Girls - the surfer girl next door. Hooters serves seafood, burgers, sandwiches and "nearly world famous" chicken wings.
Atmosphere: Hooters Girls hula-hooping and singing; open kitchen with boisterous cooks; Rock and roll playing from the jukebox; and sports on television. Hooters describes itself as "delightfully tacky, yet unrefined.
Customers: The people who visit Hooters come from all walks of life, but most are male (68%) between the ages of 25-54.
Locations: Over 435 in 46 states; Argentina, Asia, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, England, Guatemala, Mexico, Switzerland and Venezuela.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include working with team members (other Assistant Managers, General Manager, Area Marketing Coordinators, Unit-level Employees) to build and increase sales over the previous year's sales and maintain profitability, while ensuring employee and guest satisfaction, without compromising concept integrity.
Must ensure that the restaurant is functional and meets all Hooters of America, Inc. standards and integrity issues on a daily basis, to include, but not limited to: cleanliness, atmosphere, service, guest interaction, execution of food and beverage.
