This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner WorkforceLogic. The anticipated duration of this engagement is 12 months. The duration of the assignment cannot exceed 12 months. Asset Artist (Contract Position) As a member of the PSN Design team, the Asset Artist is responsible for creating promotional images, banner ads, themes, and other creative digital assets for the PSN Stores on the PS3, PSP, and PSP Media Manager, as well as other areas of the PlayStation? Network. Principle Duties / Responsibilities: ? Follows process rules and deadlines for creative assets as they move through the production pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of assets to the PSN Content Operations teams. ? Actively participates in the creation of assets for weekly publishes, including the creation of promotional images, themes, and any other requested creative. ? Together with the Creative Manager, will work with cross-functional SCE groups, including but not limited to PSN Store team, Third Party Relations, Product Marketing, WWS. ? Follows design standards, and participates in the evolution of these standards to meet dynamic business needs.
Required Knowledge / Skills: Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required. (Adobe CS4) Strong Design skills and knowledge. Able to work both independently and as a team player on tight turnarounds with excellent organizational skills. Strong design background, with experience working with both web-based and 2D game creative assets. Must be a problem solver. Knowledge of Flash a plus. Required Experience / Education: 2+ years design experience Preferred Experience / Education: ?
