Director, Clinical Application Services - TRICARE The Director, Clinical Application Services for UMVS TRICARE will lead a team of Business Analysts and Reports Analysts in the design, development, implementation and support of clinical applications and reporting for TRICARE. The Director will participate in the planning, implementation, and support of all clinical informatics projects and applications for UMVS TRICARE business. The primary responsibility of this position is to work cross-functionally and with the Information Technology team to ensure the development, deployment and production support of the critical clinical applications. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of applications used by clinicians in healthcare settings, population management and statistical tools, HIPAA compliance, Electronic Medical Records, and, reporting and analytics. Position Functions and Responsibilities: Provide overall technical and managerial leadership to the team. Understand and articulate the UMVS TRICARE business processes as well as all clinical applications and the report portal that support the business. Demonstrate understanding and ability to complete and manage business requirements documentation and change control processes. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to design, develop and deploy the best solutions to ensure compliance with the TRICARE contract and goals of UMVS.
