Siemens Wind Power is part of the business area Siemens Energy, Inc and employs more than 3500 employees worldwide. Denmark is the head office of Siemens' activities in the wind business with employees working with design, sales, production and erection of wind turbines in Denmark and the United States. We currently have the following position open in our Ft. Madison, Iowa office: Engineering Management
* The Technical Manager will focus on directing all process and industrial engineers in the manufacturing of wind turbine blades. * This position will also direct the Lean Specialist and the supporting activities.* The position will work closely with the Engineering and Lean departments in Denmark to install changes to the manufacturing process.* Emphasis on safety, efficiency and quality through the engineering process will be required utilizing continuous improvement and the employee suggestion program.* Experience with problem solving methods and statistical analysis is essential.
