Lead architecture trade studies to identify "best value" and competitively differentiated solution offerings. Collaborate with internal and external customers and team members to understand mission, use cases, business cases and logic, and solution impacts. Responsible for the proper allocation of team resources to generate all artifacts needed for architecture depiction, analysis, and vetting. Represent technical aspects of the program in all forums and with all stakeholders including senior management. Establish strong relationships with customer to define/refine requirements and facilitate enhancement of architectures and processing solutions. Responsible for requirements generation and analysis, concept of operations development and analysis, architecture depiction, architecture analysis and traceability between all system engineering domains. Lead all aspects of the Phase A analysis and milestone B product generation. Will require periodic travel to visit customers and other Raytheon sites. Mentors, advises, and develops knowledgeable system engineers and architects. The job location will be at Fort Meade, Maryland.Must be willing to take a Fullscope Polygraph.Required Skills: Experience : 10-12 years minimum experience in aerospace industry, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community or related experience. SIGINT domain knowledge and experience, including mission, platform and processing areas. Minimum 10 years of experience in system development lifecycle, from system level design through integration and test. Expertise in various system architectures including service-oriented architectures. Expertise in systems design and development including relevant COTS products. Experience with SDR. Experience with end-to-end system development and deployment. Experience with systems analysis, design, architecture, requirements analysis, configuration management, life cycle analysis, systems integration, systems testing and IV&V on large and small platforms and complex systems. Knowledge : Complete understanding and wide application of technical theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Problem Solving: Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
