Category Manager - ECommerce Location: San Jose , CA SUMMARY The Category Manager - DIY Online Store is responsible for the execution of DIY categories on AdvanceAutoParts.com through engaging and partnering with store IOM teams to ensure the online strategy is consistent with store strategy, and interacting with cross-functional online teams such as e-publishing and marketing to ensure the proper online support, representation and timeliness of DIY initiatives. The Category Manager is also responsible for P&L in multiple product categories, and as the key category liaison represents AAP.com with PSD-level counterparts in the IOM category teams. QUALIFICATIONS: ? Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships. ? Creative problem solving and solution delivery skills. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to work effectively with and support the needs of a team. ? Ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate work flow, and handle tight deadlines. ? 4-year Bachelor?s Degree ? 5+ years of Experience in retail, e-commerce and/or category specific industry. ? Proven, successful track record in buying, merchandising, inventory planning, marketing and/or web analytics ? 3+ years of Managerial experience, training, coaching and employee development. ? 2+ years of P&L Responsibility JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the online store category strategy, assortment, and achievement of the online store category P&L. Partner with the IOM teams and align online store category strategies as a key component of a multichannel strategy. Execute online strategies to optimize the internet channel customer experience for the AAP brand, portfolio designations, and financial target achievement. Execute strategies to maximize expanded assortment opportunities. Integrate online customer analytics and insights into category strategies. ? Participate and partner with cross-functional teams for the successful implementation of strategic channel improvement projects. Utilize personalization technology to create compelling consumer offers, increase platform conversion and improve the customer experience.
