Reviews, analyzes, evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates and facilitates the implementation of system strategies to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and functional steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Supports business users of application systems through trouble-shooting problems, on-line help and training. Works with business owners to develop priorities, define requirements, recommend solutions, construct and implement application solutions and report status for application system changes. Interfaces with business users and other IT groups as liaison for communicating user requirements, resolving application problems and implementing process improvements. Has significant experience with off-the-shelf packaged software, evaluating packages against defined requirements, and working with software vendors. Acts as a liaison between key business users/super users and software vendors. Coordinates software problem resolution between vendors, the Enterprise Support Center (ESC) and business users. Will play a major role in formulating and implementing enterprise content management, document management and knowledge management strategy. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
3 - 5 years of business analysis experience. Experience using SDLC and RUP methodologies and helpful. Experience with document management and workflow systems (FileNet P8 experience is preferred). Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with business customers to define requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Bachelors degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience.
