We are an independent, national distributor of brewing supplies and are currently accepting applications for an Operations Manager position. We are a rapidly growing company and well established within the brewing industry.
Job Description:

The Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing the production of quality products as efficiently as possible and fulfilling the company?s continuously increasing production. The Operations Manager will lead the company in the manufacturing of agricultural products according to established guidelines and procedures. Secondary responsibility will be overseeing inventory of supplies and finished products, facility and warehouse management. The candidate will manage shipping and receiving as well as maintain a capitol budget for the areas of responsibility. The candidate will also be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and directing employees to achieve company objectives. This position works in conjunction with other department managers and reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures involving safety, proper manufacturing policies, and identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
2. Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting procedures.
3. Coordinate labor staffing on a daily basis in coherence with budgeted staffing goals.
4. Manage inventory for both material supplies and finished products.
5. Demonstrates and develops operational experience to understand and ultimately provide robust process solutions as well as project production planning each year.
6. Ensure that personnel have proper qualifications and certifications, are properly trained and motivated to work productively both as part of a team and individual. The candidate will lead the development of team goals and ensure that these are communicated and understood by other team members.
7. Operate, maintain and oversee processing equipment as well develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for warehouse equipment and facilities.
