Project: High-Volume Payment Transactional application
Roles: Sr. Developer J2EE , Websphere
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Project:
Sr Developer with focus on complex J2EE high-volume transactional applications.
Work environment may include UP Programming methodology, collaborative work environment, and iterative development with a high level of team interaction.
Primary responsibility will be collaborative J2EE development on our Transaction Services applications, including instrumentation for performance and monitoring for event-driven transaction processing software, as project tasks dictate.
Significant emphasis on development and performance tuning of high-volume transaction processing code.
Develop software on WebSphere/Eclipse J2EE platform.
Requirements:
8 years of information services experience to include
5 years application development and testing experience in a distributed environment.
5 years J2EE development experience with 4 years UNIX experience.
Preferred solid WebSphere development experience.
Prefer high-volume transaction processing experience (5,000+ transactions / second). Should have experience with tuning high-volume applications for performance and instrumentation of code for tuning and monitoring.
Experience with OpenJPA, Spring, jBPM, WebSphere MQ pub/sub, and Wicket a plus
Formal training in object-oriented methodologies and 4 years experience with object-oriented design
Demonstrated experience building and implementing software solutions and design patterns requiring complex technologies in an enterprise environment requiring integration between the mainframe and distributed platforms.
Must have experience resolving complex system problems in a team setting, including evaluation of options to determine optimal solution.
