Job Description

Gryphon Technologies, a leading provider of engineering services to the US Navy, is seeking a Project Financial Analyst. Job location is in Washington, DC. Qualified candidate will be responsible for providing overarching financial support to several US Navy Radar programs of records in all areas of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process; to include program planning and analysis, budget preparation and justification, and funding execution. Candidate will assist peers in the development of annual budgets and forecasts; create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets; generate various financial reports; and performing quality control on financial deliverables, in addition to other related financial tasks. Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System program planning, funding, and management information systems (e.g., PRISMS, ERP) and broad knowledge of the NAVSEA and PEO IWS organizations and functions of activities involved in providing financial support are required. Proficient in MS Office products, such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a must. Knowledgeable of US Navy program office operations is required. Salary up to $55K.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline. One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, mathematical, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. One must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions is required. Security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required. US Citizenship required.
