Assists manager and administrator in purchasing materials, equipment parts, produce and other supplies for operation of business. reviews requisitions, interviews vendors to obtain information concerning products, price ability of vendor to produce products or service, and delivery date. Selects, purchase items by testing, observing, or otherwise examining. Estimates value according to knowledge of market price. keeps records pertaining to items purchase , cost, delivery performance and inventories. Discusses dfects of purchased goods with inspection personne. Approves bill for payment.
