JOB DESCRIPTION

Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, is seeking a Technology Process Engineering Intern to join our Enterprise Delivery Enablement team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Technology Process Engineering Intern, you will be a key member of the Delivery and Integration team, working closely with process optimization and technology professionals to help analyze, develop and document processes and methods


As a Technology Process Engineering intern on the Delivery and Integration team you will be partnering with a team of professionals focused on improving business processes and ways of working to optimize delivery of technology hardware, software, platforms, and other administrative functions. You will use your inquisitive mindset, analysis skills, and experience to help design process flows and other standard process design artifacts such as Value Stream Maps to help enable decisions.

Technology We Use
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart


Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Analyze current state processes and ways of working and develop and document proposed future state solutions

Collaborate and partner with team members across multiple departments to understand requirements and interpret data and workflows

Develop detailed designs, process flows, and other related documentation as needed

Perform process simulations



Qualifications:What We Look For (Minimum)
Strong problem-solving skills


Knowledge of process related standards


Strong documentation skills and experience developing workflows, process, Value Stream Mapping, and other related artifacts


Experience in process simulations


Knowledge of Lean or other process improvement frameworks


Ability to synthesize information quickly at a high level and makes decisions in ambiguous situations


Ability to pay strong attention to detail, and collaborate and function effectively in a team environment and independently on complex problems


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, curiosity and hunger to learn new technologies






What We Look For (Preferred)
Degree in Industrial Engineering


Strong problem-solving skills


Knowledge of process related standards


Strong documentation skills and experience developing workflows, process, Value Stream Mapping, and other related artifacts


Experience in process simulations


Knowledge of Lean or other process improvement frameworks


Experience with CAD/AutoCAD software and platforms


Experience with delivery lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)


Ability to synthesize information quickly at a high level and makes decisions in ambiguous situations


Ability to pay strong attention to detail, and collaborate and function effectively in a team environment and independently on complex problems


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, curiosity and hunger to learn new technologies
