The Maintenance Supervisor at Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community focused on resident care and experience, is responsible for conducting and supervising maintenance tasks and projects while providing exceptional customer service to residents and reporting to the Maintenance Director. Schedule will be Sunday - Thursday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in and ensure maintenance projects are completed timely and with a high level of quality.
Provide necessary support to the Maintenance Director.
Ensure maintenance department meets local building codes and follows safety protocol.
Research and resolve project issues as they arise.
Effectively supervise small team of maintenance staff.
Coordinate and ensure maintenance requests are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Help to maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance requests and expenditures.
Regularly check in with maintenance staff to help resolve issues and ensure quality of work.
Facilitate inventory and ordering needs.
Pick up necessary permits for projects and run errands when supplies are needed.
Help to ensure maintenance operations run in the most economical manner possible.
Ensure preventative repairs are done on a regular basis.
Interact with residents in a professional, courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
Help to organize work and storage areas a needed.
Immediately respond to emergency maintenance situations serving as back-up responder.
Ensure buildings are in accordance with applicable building codes and ordinances concerning pool safety, fire, and emergency evacuation.
Help to develop, train, and coach maintenance staff with guidance from Director of Maintenance.
Take part in set up and tear down of company and property events.
Inspect and report warranty related issues on a routine basis.
Collaborate with appropriate team members to ensure vacant apartments are prepared in a timely manner.
Ensure use of chemicals and cleaning solutions are used responsibly and SDS sheets are referred to and current.
Perform other duties as assigned
Pay: $20 - $21 per hour
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 3 5 years of previous maintenance experience and one year of supervision experience required.
