Celanese Corporation in Irving, Texas is seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to coordinate a team of Customer Service Representatives in the order management processes, coordinating the resolution of escalated issues related to order management or customer relationship processes through frequent interaction with counterparts in the other SCD functions, as well as Sales, Planning, Human Resources, and the Business Lines.
Carry out collection and analysis of metrics to ensure adherence to all safety and compliance standards, including ISO, and international trade, process improvement initiatives. Coordinate the resolution of escalated issues. Participate in the resolution of all customer service caused 2PM s (errors/Product missed Delivered/Identified incidents). Identify opportunities, drive alignment on best practices & recommended solutions. Submit opportunities to OPEX (Operational Excellence) to drive work take out and increase productivity. Collaborate with OPEX (Operational Excellence) to prioritize opportunities, provide required resources to support improvement projects, ensure successful hand-off from OPEX to operations. Negotiate contracts.
Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management and MBA or Master s degree in Management. Three (3) years of prior work experience in the position offered or related as a subject matter expert for Procurement. Must know (through academic training or work experience) SAP for order history, check inventory levels, material availability in the warehouses, creating orders and reviewing pricing and Supply Chain Delivery; negotiation skills in international trade; maritime terminology involved in the nomination of a vessel and incoterms responsibilities of the buyer and seller; international logistics process of supplying bulk raw materials via liner, truck, rail and hopper truck; billing and invoicing; and root cause analysts. Must be fluent in Spanish.
