Join Cardno's Science and Environment team to play an integral role performing archaeological work in the Southeast of the United States. Job Description: Cardno is seeking Archaeologists in our Southeast Area offices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Field duties may include participation in Phase I and Phase II projects and may necessitate out-of-town travel Laboratory duties may include artifact processing, classification, and curation, artifact photography, database management, mapping, and report layout Basic qualifications: BA in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field is required Must demonstrate knowledge of and familiarity with survey and testing methods in the Southeast and/or Mid-Atlantic Experience in a supervisory role is desired and demonstrated experience in a field setting is required Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions, lift heavy objects, and walk for long periods of time Extensive travel may be required Equal Opportunity statement for US based applicants Cardno has a long standing policy of Equal Opportunity in employment.
