Price Container is seeking to add a Director of Operations. The primary responsibility of the Director of Operations is to oversee and ensure the operational efficiencies of all operational and administrative activities for the division. The actions of this critical role will result in engaged and supported team members, enhanced partnerships with suppliers and customers, a safe work environment, and increased gross profits. This role encompasses more than people leadership as it also requires hands on resource management and support across all operational functions.
Provides strategic leadership and sets direction for Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management and Procurement functions.
Supports ongoing integration efforts with TricorBraun including organization, systems, and process changes and improvements.
Provides guidance and support to Sales Administration regarding forecasting, costing, pricing, and profitability.
Reviews and improves the sales forecasting and order execution processes with sales teams and key suppliers
Manages and develops strategic supplier relationships and procurement activities with support from TB supply chain to ensure quality, competitiveness, and reliability.
Reviews and oversees implementation of warehouse throughput and space metrics.
Overseas overall inventory management including - inventory levels, aging, internal and customer replenishment programs, turns, allocation and data accuracy.
Supervises Fleet management of company owned trucks and trailers.
Achieves an operating income greater than or equal to budget; monitors expenses and reduces costs; maintains the branch facility.
Leads continuous improvement efforts identifying and targeting areas in which improvements can be made to operation and processes.
Recommends and implements capital spending plans.
Serves as the Operational liaison to TB corporate as it pertains to communication, budgeting, and reporting.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
10 years business/operations management experience.
Bachelor s degree preferred.
