OurnVeteran Family Wellness Center connects veterans and their families to a widenvariety of UCLA Health services focused on life-skills, health, recreation, education,nprevention and wellness. As a Family Trainer, you will provide evidence-based,nfamily-centered education and prevention services to parents, children,nfamilies and couples. You will:
Facilitate evidence-based and manualized family training programs,nskills groups and workshops for veteran families
Complete and document intakes/orientations
Assist with program outreach within the veteran community
Oversee, track and monitor family participation in services
Attend training and model consultation sessions
This is a contract position with eligibility to convert to career. Qualifications
We renseeking a passionate, customer-focused professional with:
Master s degree or PhD in psychology or a related field
Previous experience in family and/or child services
Background working with military populations
Experience working with children, teens and adults
Ability to keep accurate and timely records
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of ancollaborative team
Valid driver s license, auto insurance and access to an automobile
Computer proficiency with MS Office
