As a Senior Telecommunication Analyst, you will helpsupport our Genesys PureConnect Phone System for our House Calls line ofbusiness.You ll be part of the teamthat supports the system, its health & growth, as well as creating newsystems to accommodate the business.Inaddition to having impact on a great team, you'll also discover the careeropportunities you'd expect from an Industry Leader.
-Develops scripts/programming (if applicable) forvoice/data networking systems and applications, based on defined technical specifications/designdocuments (e.g., D&E documents)
-Creates test plans for execution by applicable groups(e.g., engineers)
-Specifies and/or orders all required voice hardware,data hardware and circuits defined in technical specifications/design documents
-Works with vendors to review potential system/codingissues (e.g., bug scrubs) and identify fixes, as needed
-Validates compliance with voice/data networking systemsand applications standards (e.g., LAN/WAN standards guide)
- Reviews, troubleshoots, and validates potentialrouting/switching/voice issues and capabilities
-Collaborates with applicable testing groups (e.g.,application owners, engineers) to ensure proper functionality of relevantvoice/data networking systems and applications
-Performs pre-production testing (e.g., staging) toensure that all system components operate as designed
-Conducts/monitors testing activities, evaluates resultsand remediates
-Proactively monitors performance of voice/datanetworking systems and applications, and reports/escalates problems/issues asneeded
-Adheres to established best practices for deployingvoice/data networking systems and applications (e.g., vendor best practicerecommendations)
-Works with Tier II teams to help resolve complex issues
-Conducts ongoing performance testing and tuning toidentify emerging performance issues (e.g., capacity management)
-Identifies and communicates needs for additionalhardware and upgrades/downgrades
-Troubleshoots technical problems/issues andidentifies/implements appropriate solutions
-Demonstrates understanding of and adheres to establishedsecurity requirements and standards when
installing/managing/maintaining applicable voice/datanetworks
-Manages/monitors service contracts and licensing toensure compliance and control costs
-Ensures that all required devices are included innetwork management tools
-Monitors changes in networking systems and applications,and ensures that applicable documentation and audiences are updated (e.g., HelpDesk, technical trainers, engineers)
-Monitors emerging technologies and makes appropriaterecommendations for adoption
-Develops/executes/reviews applicable reports (e.g.,performance, capacity) and distributes to appropriate audiences (e.g., VDN engineers,leadership, business partners, voice/data networking teams)
-Sets appropriate thresholds for notifications
-Provide training support to applicable audiences (e.g.,Help Desk, technical trainers, engineers)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
* 3-5 yrs of Telecom VOIP/SIP experience
