Battery Test Engineer Santa Clara Valley (Cupertino),California,United States Hardware + 8+ Years of Battery Testing Experience + Experience with testing various battery technologies required + Ability to interpret battery test results and communicate to team + Capable of making test choices based on electrochemistry nuances + Ability to schedule and organize all required and requested tests + Ability to operate and troubleshoot all testing equipment and tools + Data management and statistical analysis experience highly desired + Good communications skills + Able to function and interact in a multilevel team environment + Database experience desired **Description** - Develop and implement test protocols to measure and characterize cell properties and electro-chemical performance (at various temperatures) and process flows for the effective implementation of the protocols - Develop and implementation validation methods to ensure the integrity of the lab data - Coordinate cell test data collection - Coordinate the acquisition or in-house design and manufacture of small tools for lab use. - Determine need for and Schedule/Perform routine maintenance of testing equipment. - Collect and analyze test data, write-up reports as necessary - Maintain cell test database - Communicate results to engineering team - Refine/Update test procedures and documents - Train and mentor technicians in the operation and upkeep of test equipment and tool **Education & Experience** BS+ in Science or Engineering discipline **Additional Requirements** **Apple Footer** Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
