As a Business Office Coordinator, you will contribute to the company's mission, vision, and values by coordinating the daily operations of the business office. You will oversee functions of scheduling, chart preparation, patient registration, insurance verification and collecting patient deposits.
What you will do in this role:
Ensure that assigned areas are staffed by coordinating your team's schedule daily
You will be responsible for completing chart preparation, data entry, collections, insurance verification and pre-certification as required by insurance plans
You will reconcile daily front office collections
Work with the nurse manager and/or nurse coordinator to ensure your daily schedule is streamlined
You will be responsible for opening and/or closing procedures of the facility
Opening in early 2020, BROWNSVILLE SURGERY CENTER provides patients and physicians a convenient and safe alternative to perform procedures and surgery outside the hospital. Brownsville Surgery Center offers state-of-the-art technology in each of its two-endoscopy suites and OR, as well as fully equipped preoperative and post-anesthesia care areas. We are located at 5700 North Expressway, Suite 201, Brownsville, Texas 78526, north of Alton Gloor and south of the Stillman Road/Old Alice Road exit. Qualifications you will need:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in medical office setting highly preferred (i.e. ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctors office)
* Lead or supervisory experience preferred
