JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Responsibilities
The RehabnAide II for the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program primary functionnis to assist the UCLA Ornish Lifestyle Medicine Program in all aspects of thenprogram, as directed. This includes assisting the Exercise Physiologist in administeringnthe exercise program, assisting the Dietitian with meal delivery, etc,nassisting the Group Support Specialist as needed, and assisting the StressnManagement Specialist, as needed. Dutiesnmay include set up and clean-up of area, retrievement of supplies,ncommunication with other parties, etc. The Rehab Aide II is also responsible for checking in program participants,nentering billing, and entering / maintaining other data, as directed. Whennneeded, the Rehab Aide II can serve to support the staff of Cardiac andnPulmonary Rehab in administering the exercise portion of the programs. Qualifications
Workingntowards a degree in Kinesiology or related field. Bachelor s degree in ExercisenPhysiology or related field preferred.
CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
One year's internship or work experienceninstructing group exercise classes involving cardiorespiratory, resistance andnflexibility exercises. Completed Adult Exercise Prescriptionnand basic Exercise Physiology courses.
Must have ability to take blood pressure at restnand during exercise.
