Job Summary: The Channel Analytics Manager is responsible for supporting the Emerging Channel in various capacities. They are expected to engage and influence external retail partners and internally lead business insights and analytics within the E-Marketplace channel. A successful candidate will have a strong business and finance acumen, ability to disseminate business opportunities, and capability to influence both internally and externally.


Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results:





Engagement and Collaboration



- Work closely with a cross-functional team including members from Finance, Marketing, Demand and Supply Planning, Account Management, Directors, and Vice President within Emerging Channel to strategize and identify channel opportunities

- Engage with E-Marketplace account management team to develop action plans that capitalize on customer opportunities and mitigate competitive threats

- Interact with E-Marketplace retail customers Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Overstock, and others to influence through category leadership and support

- Collaborate with cross-functional channel support group to predict product needs for E-Marketplace retail partners






Data Modeling and Business Acumen



- Ability to analyze large data sets, visualize the information, and present insights in a clear and concise manner throughout all levels of an organization

- Identify and analyze key business insights and brand performance for better understanding of future business trends and needs

- Monitor and conduct routine data management to ensure error free and data integrity

- Understand performance dashboard analysis and forecast modeling techniques

- Pull adhoc reporting from various systems including Hyperion Essbase as well as third party retail portals

- Work with external vendor(s) teams to create cross-functional reporting dashboards to analyze performance metrics and align business strategies









Project and Program Management



- Execute objectives that are aligned to the vision of our Emerging Channel

- Work with cross-functional support team to define and execute product launch excellence

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with accountability milestones

- Create standardization and scalable processes for gathering and interpreting information from the E-Marketplace Channel support team functions: Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Marketing

- Execute within defined project and department budgets









Ideal Candidate Possesses These Attributes:



- Experience with E-Marketplace platforms like Amazon, Walmart.com, Wayfair, etc is desirable

- Technologically savvy. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Power BI

- Knowledge of e-commerce platform technologies, marketing funnels, and metrics

- Insights knowledge and experience (2 year minimum), including consumer shopper, and digital insights

- Demonstrates ability to work with large data sets

- Confident understanding of financial models

- A passionate ambassador for the brand with the ability to convey the corporate message (vision and strategy)

- Detail oriented with an eye for discovering data inconsistencies and business trends

- Aptitude for 'big picture' scope and understanding

Qualifications:



- BA/BS Degree is required

- Minimum of 3-5 years financial, data analytics, data management, or equivalent job-related experience

- Experience in consumer products environment desired
