JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Informatist supports reporting needs and program development for Managed Care. Responsibilities include research, analysis and reporting of healthcare data using appropriate industry statistical methods to evaluate quality and cost efficiency at various levels of care, quantitative and qualitative analysis for various Managed Care projects, leading projects and project teams whenever applicable. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity, security, reliability and interpretation of corporate data through the use of advanced statistical analytic applications. The use of multiple software tools and programming skills are necessary to combine data from multiple systems and develop complex queries in support of clinical integration, quality improvement, cost-reduction efforts, and data analytics in support of both OhioHealth Managed Care and analytical support operations of the clinically integrated physician-hospital network. The ideal candidate will portray confidence, positive energy and passion for improving healthcare.
Bachelor's Degree (Required)Desire and ability to consistently keep up with current managed care events, trends, and forecasts; Experience using financial systems, database or data warehouses, and/or analytics systems to perform complex financial analyses and communicate results and analysis to a diverse audience of health care professionals.
