Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Clinician in Worcester, MA.The Program for Assertive Community Treatment, or PACT, is an intensive and highly integrated evidence based practice for community mental health services. Our team serves 50 individuals age 18 + who struggle with serious and persistent mental illness and whose symptoms result in serious functioning difficulties in several major areas of life, often including work, social relationships, residential independence, money management, and physical health and wellness.Unlike other community-based programs, PACT is not a linkage case-management program that connects individual's services. Rather, it provides highly individualized services directly to clients. PACT is multi-disciplinary team model whose goals are to support clients to reduce hospitalizations and to restore and enhance the emotional well-being and level of social functioning of clients. Services are provided in clients' own homes and communities and are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.Clinician sought for busy community outreach team supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is a community outreach, multidisciplinary team, working with individuals in the community to work toward recovery based goals.Benefits:Compensation based on education and related work experience, licensure and other qualificationsHealth and Dental insurance (available upon starting)Generous paid sick, personal, holiday, and vacation timeCEU benefitsLife and Disability insurance401k with agency contributionWellness activity discountsWork related travel reimbursementWeekly clinical supervision to meet clinical licensing requirementsResponsibilities* Providing therapeutic interventions in the form of person-centered, individual therapy to assist person served in actualizing their goals.* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.* Completing documentation in a timely manner.* Assisting clients in learning skills/coping strategies that support recovery.* Familiar with evidence based clinical practices (i.e. harm reduction, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, etc.).* Assisting individuals with activities of daily living, housing and vocational support.* Liaison with medical providers and other community supports.* Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.Qualifications* Grade 7: Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.* Grade 8: Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist* Minimum of 4 years experience working with adults with mental illness.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment a must.* Must be able to pass a CORI background check* Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicleCommunity Healthlink is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity Employer.
