**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As a Cloud Platform Sales representative, you will be the face of IBM s capabilities to the customer. You will be responsible for building and growing relationships with your Financial Services clients, listening to understand the business problems and requirements, and building a solution that meets that criteria. You will be responsible for presenting configurations and pricing for the solution, negotiating the terms, conditions and pricing and understanding the steps to come to closure. You will be responsible for reporting an accurate representation of your business to IBM leadership. Following closure of an opportunity, you will be responsible for maintaining the customer relationship to ensure client satisfaction.

**Position Summary and Responsibilities:**
+ Seller is responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all required sales related activities within an assigned territory or set of accounts in order to achieve assigned financial sales objectives
+ Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets, while providing high value customer solution
+ Build rapport with clients and manage existing relationships to deliver a best in class service while increasing IBM's share within their environment
+ Identify markets and create opportunities to grow your client base
+ Be able to appropriately and accurately represent your business using the sales forecasting tools
+ Communicate & influence at IT Director/CIO level (Oral and Written) through understanding of requirements and articulating the business value of our solutions
+ Team with IBM s Business Partners to drive more opportunities
+ Stay current on Industry trends and competitive threats

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
+ Leadership skills with self motivation
+ Ability to collaborate with teams within IBM and partners externally
+ Creative problem solver and open to change
+ Ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments
+ Experience and understanding of the Cloud market
+ Software Sales Experience
+ Solution Sales Experience
+ Client Facing Experience
+ Experience leading direct and matrixed sales organizations
+ Develop, drive and communicate a clear winning strategy for IBM Cloud
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
+ Sales & Technical skills: Preferably with Cloud Solution Sales experience
+ Fluent in English
