JOIN US AS A Compliance Analyst Privacy & Reporting

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting for a Compliance Analyst to join our Core Compliance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the Firm s activities follow the necessary rules and regulations by providing compliance support and expertise within established guidelines. Specific responsibilities include independently identifying and resolving problems in a timely fashion considering internal guidelines and outside regulatory requirements. The analyst will also function as a trusted advisor to BBH's business Lines and provide privacy specific training as necessary.


* Manage data incidents

* Review data incidents, determine relevant contracts, laws and/or applicable regulations that are applicable each incident

* Draft client communications and provide notice to the business

* Reassign data incidents to local compliance offices

* Coordinate with global compliance offices regarding remediation of data incidents, corrective actions issued and other aspects each incident

* Coordinate independently with Risk and LOB to establish appropriate remediation

* Data Loss Prevention

* Serve as the Compliance point of escalation for DLP email review

* Review escalated emails and recommends corrective action when necessary

* Reporting

* Generate a monthly report on privacy metrics, trends and highlights & present to the Risk Focus Group

* Provide reports on data incidents to each LOB

* Coordinate with LOB risk to understand any trends in data incident

* Training

* Interpedently coordinate with Risk to provide targeted, in-person privacy training to employees ranging from non-officers to senior management.


* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

* Compliance and project management experience within financial industry

* Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Access experience

* Highly motivated and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

* Results and detail oriented to drive deadlines to completion

* CIPP certification preferred
