What you will doAs a Research Co-op with our Data and Research Services (DRS) team, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by conducting business-focused secondary research across a variety of industries in a timely and accurate manner along with clearly packaging, articulating and delivering findings. You will conduct research across many of BCG s industry practice areas (such as Industrial Goods; Consumer Products; Financial Institutions; Technology, Media, and Telecom; Public Sector, and Health Care sectors).

While the majority of the role will be focused on conducting secondary research and helping case teams navigate existing internal materials, you will also assist the DRS operations team with reporting and other operational responsibilities as required.

Knowledge@BCG consists of the Knowledge Team (KT), Data & Research Services (DRS) and Knowledge & Collaboration Solution (KCS). KT is a group of experts within respective fields or areas providing industry, functional and geographic expertise to consulting teams. KT members are aligned to Practice Areas, sometimes serving as members of case or project teams. KT offers insight into a topic or function derived from BCG s knowledge base and case/project experience. The members of our DRS team work alongside consulting team colleagues to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivity


* Must meet the co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/university's academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op program

* Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (July-December)

* United States work authorization required

* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

* Very strong time management and project management skills

* Major in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

* Strong attention to detail, analytical mind-set, ability to prioritize and multi-task

YOU'RE GOOD ATThe ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for research; a deep interest in learning more about a variety of industries and topics; excellent communication skills; and skill in evaluating data sources and in gathering, synthesizing, and packaging research into accurate and timely output.
