Thisnposition manages all data in the Early Head Start program, manages multiplendatabases and ensures accuracy for reports regarding program standards andncompliance. This position works closely with Program Managers to comply withnOngoing Monitoring procedures and reports.
Must maintain confidentiality. Use discretion with matters of families and program as appropriate. (Any misuse of confidential information may be basis for disciplinary action.) Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with Early Head Start families.
Establish and maintain professional boundaries with parents when handling program and personal issues. Communication techniques and expectations: Model effective communication. Use appropriate channels and staff to problem-solve and refer families. Meet problem situations with understanding and diplomacy. Use a professional attitude and approach to working with parents, co-workers and community volunteers. Participate and promote a positive working relationship with all staff and Early Head Start families.
Must attend and actively participate in required meetings, workshops, training, in-service training and committees, etc.
Initiate and assume responsibility for own learning to keep current of job related issues and best practices. Seek training and/or assistance to implement improvements when needed. Support all program activities (CFEHS), know and promote the goals and objectives of Venice Family Clinic. Be completely familiar with and adhere to the Head Start Performance Standards.
Be familiar with and adhere to Program Policies and Procedures. Cooperate with co-workers and respect their opinions and contributions. Share materials and ideas readily with co-workers. Able to manage time and prioritize a busy schedule.
Able to practice stress management that is job related. Be prepared and punctual for meetings and work.
Manage multiple databases for alln comprehensive services in the Early Head Start program. Provide or arrange for training andn technical assistance for program staff. Review reports, check for accuracy,n and create charts and reports for Managers that help drive their work byn being data informed. Reporting includes, schooln readiness, attendance, family outcomes and health services.
Coordination with Health Servicesn on reports and accuracy of data. Review and revise when necessaryn Children First EHS s data strategy, maintaining compliance with the Headn Start Program Performance Standards. Lead improvement or upgrade ofn existing data systems, processes and procedures to align with datan strategy. Perform regular audits of andn monitor data collection to maintain integrity and quality. Produce regular process reports, conductn data analysis and provide relevant visualizations that are shared ton governance groups and program managers and staff. Serve as back up to Datan Coordinators when needed.
Work with Child Plus.net, Learningn Genie, Kinder Charts, NOHO and Next Gen. Monitor monthly progress on annualn Program Information Report (PIR).Share results with Program Manager to check accuracy. Compare data with reports to assuren data is clean and accurate. Responsible for running monthlyn Board PIR Report and submitting to Program Director. Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in data systems or analytics with at least one year of supervisory experience - Required
Bachelor s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field -Strongly preferred
Familiarity with Child Plus.net - Required.
Strong written and oral skills - Required.
Knowledge of Head Start performance standards.Preferred experience working with and Early Head Start program - Required.
Develop and maintain competency in the use of computer hardware and software systems required for communication, record-keeping and reporting Required.
Master s degree in mathematics,n statistics, computer science or related field - Required
Prior experience with Childn Plus.net - Required.
Knowledge of early childhoodn education - Required.
Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start - Required.
Ability to communicate effectively, ability to gather and analyze information and make concise, accurate reports and recommendations - Required.
Ability to exercise professional judgment and maintain all information in strict confidentiality - Required.
Requires demonstrated knowledge of computers and use of software (Word, Excel, NOHO, Child Plus.net, Learning Genie, databases, etc.) - Required.
Experience in creating excel spreadsheets - Required.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and ability to sort, alphabetize documents, records and files - Required.
Ability to keep accurate records - Required.
This person exercises a large level ofnindependence in making decisions and commitments within the parameters ofncorporate policies and procedures. Significant errors in judgment may endanger the health and safety ofnchildren or staff and may cause serious financial and/or legal repercussionsnfor Venice Family Clinic. May be required to alter scheduled hours asnnecessary. Requires standing, walking, bending and lifting.
