The Demand Planning Continuous Improvement Lead will report directly into the Americas Demand Planning and Global Continuous Improvement Manager and will be responsible for ensuring global alignment of Demand Planning s strategic projects and processes. This leader will be pivotal to ensuring demand planning s 4 key objectives cash, revenue, cost savings, customer experience are achieved through strategic leadership and execution of process improvement.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - Develop strategy and lead programs to drive global adoption of best practices, innovations in planning while allowing for regional flexibility
PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Accountable for high-quality integrated project management and oversight, ensuring that a comprehensive project plan is developed by the assigned owner and monitor their execution in line with key deadlines
CHANGE MANAGEMENT - Leads and fosters the continuous improvement roadmap for the DP team and leverages continuous improvement tools to drive operational improvements
CHANGE LEADERSHIP - Ensures engagement of the cross-functional supply chain teams through strong communication and clear direction
FORECAST ACCURACY - Create and implement processes to achieve best in class performance
DEMAND STABILITY - Identify practices that cause gyration to the supply base and systematically resolve
INVENTORY AND EXCESS & OBSOLESCENCE - Drive processes that improve collaboration with Supply Planning to achieve inventory targets
SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING - Increase effectiveness of alignment process with Sales, Finance, Supply, Product and Engineering teams
IN THIS ROLE, KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCES WILL INCLUDE:
Strong experience managing complex demand planning projects
Experience documenting detailed processes
Success launching new process and leading change efforts across large teams
Ability to influence key stakeholders to adopt new processes
Proven track record of identifying process improvement opportunities and driving significant, tangible benefit to the business
Experience leading change across large cross-functional teams
Prior management experience a plus
Ability to interact with and present up to VP Levels
Experience working in a large, complex, global business
Core analytic skills to independently dive into an unclear area and make sense of it
This position is located in our Chicago office. Remote/flexible work environment is provided
* 5 years in a supply chain role and demonstrated track record of creating and implementing process improvements in the planning field
* An M.B.A or other advanced degree is a plus
A 4-year bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other discipline.
5+ years of experience
